About Jacquilyn Eusanio

Jacquilyn EusanioJacquilyn Eusanio, a native of Youngstown, Ohio, is a self-taught artist with a brief study in design school at Youngstown State University. Painting is her happy place and when she began using her innate creativity to produce tangible artistic pieces, she discovered her connection to her passion for art.

After spending years as an entrepreneur owning and operating five Raphael’s Schools of Cosmetology, she decided to pursue art as a therapeutic method of dealing with a major health situation in her life. Having beat cancer she creates colorful paintings with great detail, and sometimes a little bling and luster, to showcase the vibrancy of life that we inevitably take for granted sometimes. The texture, definition and bold colors that define her paintings bring her perceptions to life in a way that demands attention.

Influenced by all artists, specifically Van Gogh and Monet to name a few, Artist Eusanio’s painting style is predominantly contemporary and abstract but truly depends on where her state of reverie leads her in different times of life.

Artist Eusanio has been featured in local galleries in Cape Canaveral where she lives surrounded by the ocean and beach that inspire a lot of her work. Phyllis Shipley, a successful local artist, is another major influence in her vocation as an artist.

One of her proudest moments as an artist was when her first painting sold at a gallery, not because of the monetary aspect but because someone she had never met acknowledged and appreciated her work. Her desire as an artist is to express to others her zest for life and to bring joy when they look at her paintings.
